Introducing the USB - a hybrid stylet and bougie.

The unique design of the USB incorporates two metal inserts either side a more flexible middle section. The USB can easily be manipulated to a variety of angles when used as a stylet, yet has the flexibility when used as a bougie to provide a significantly enhanced level of tracheal ring feedback.  In addition, the hexagonal shape provides less contact with the inner surface of the tracheal tube, providing particularly easy insertion and removal.
 
The USB offers a number of key advantages over traditional bougies and stylets:

The Universal Stylet Bougie, or USB, represents a significant advance in the design and development of tracheal introducers (bougies) and stylets. 

We are pleased to announce the launch of the LiteScope™ direct laryngoscope, the latest addition to our range of airway management devices and accessories.

Intersurgical provides two products that can help reduce the occurrence of pressure ulcers on the ear: the Intersurgical EcoLite™ face mask range and nasal cannula with ear guards.

The Intersurgical EcoLite™ adult oxygen range features an extra chin section incorporating two integral seals ensuring that the mask fits a wide range of face shapes. The mask's retaining elastic can be fitted either above or below the patient's ear depending on the patient's face shape. In the preferred below ear position it eliminates the discomfort and longer-term trauma created by elastic sitting on top of the patient's ears.

Our nasal cannula with ear guards is designed to prevent trauma to the patient's ears thanks to the soft silicone foam cushions, which are easily adjusted and securely fitted.
