Watch our new Silver Knight™ anti-microbial breathing systemsvideo.
In the continued fight against Hospital Acquired Infections (HAI's) our range of Silver Knight™ products with anti-microbial additive are available for both anaesthesia and intensive care use. Constant handling of breathing systems by theatre personnel can increase the risk of pathogens being spread from patient to patient, and patient to staff. By reducing the number of pathogens on the breathing system, transmission between infected patients can be minimised and the proliferation of pathogens reduced. Until now, Silver Knight has been tested with the five bacteria listed below, but nowEscherichia Coli has been added to that list.
Methicillin ResistantStaphylococcus Aureus
Our new Silver Knight™videoindicates this, and highlights just how effective Silver Knight is against the six bacteria listed.
