Disposable single use face masks may not be suitable in situations where patients have a difficult airway, elderly patients with no teeth or patients have abnormal facial anatomy. For these patients, our Alterna™ reprocessable anatomical face mask may be beneficial.
Intersurgical's Alterna range of reprocessable masks are latex free. Some are still made from rubber, but it is a synthetic rubber called Chloroprene sometimes referred to as Neoprene™ and others are made from silicone. We offer four ranges of reprocessable anaesthetic face masks.
